Brought to you by Raw Fire Bowls this oversized bowl has been cast from virgin iron ore and is the medium model in our range. A great size for those looking for a centerpiece of the garden that has a large presence and heavy duty look and feel. The bowl you are buying is in the middle of the main picture
The bowl itself is extremely heavy, weighing over 60kg and will require at least 2 strong people to lift it into place. The bowl can either sit flat without the stand or sit on the heavy duty steel stand that is provided. if the stand is being used it will need to stand on a hard surface to prevent the stand sinking into the ground.
All of our bowls have a raw iron finish and will naturally weather as soon as they are placed outside. The natural surface rust will constantly change, making the bowl appearance slightly different everytime you look at. All of our bowls are made from thick iron ore which is very radiant. So not only will you be warmed by the fire itself but also from the radiant heat contained in the cast iron. Most other bowls are made from steel that is not as good at radiating the heat.
Note: These are raw cast iron and may have some grinding, filling and finishing marks. These will all fade into a beautiful patina after being left out for a few days.
Also available is our larger 1,500mm Giant Outdoor Fire Bowl or smaller600mm Outdoor Fire Bowl
1000mm Diameter

Caring For Your Bowl
When cast iron is new it can be very brittle and can crack if excessive heat is passed through it before it has time to cure. To prevent shock cracking we suggest having one or two very small fires, letting the bowl go cold before lighting it again.
Warning
Always ensure that children and pets are kept well away from the bowl when lit. Position the bowl well away from any flammable objects and ensure the bowl is safe and secure on the stand before lighting it. Never leave the fire pit unattended and be careful when refuelling as the whole cast bowl will get very hot.
Why Are We So Cheap?
This is a very common question and the answer is simple: this Bowl is designed by our team, constructed in our factory and distributed directly from us to you. We are also an internet-based company with no showroom, so all of these factors combined means we can offer a fantastic product at a very good price.
