All stock items will be delivered within 2 to 3 working days of the purchase providing the correct delivery and contact details have been entered. If you have a preferred day of delivery (Monday to Friday) please add this to the notes on checkout. We will do our very best to accomodate this for you. 

Stove Delivery Charges

Delivery of all Multi-fuel Stoves / Boiler Stoves / Contemporary Stoves etc will be charged at the following rates:

Mainland England, Wales and industrial Scotland £39.99
North and South Ireland £89.99
Highlands £89.99

Other Delivery Charges (Standard UK Mainland*)

Flexible Liner, Liner kits £15.00
Cowl, Ma, fan and any other parts £3.00 - £5.50

Important information about UK stove deliveries

Any stove ordered from Stoveworld UK will arrive on a pallet and, depending on the order, can weigh more than 200kg. Deliveries of this nature are very different to standard courier deliveries.

On this page we will try and outline as much information about the delivery procedure as we can but if you need any more information, please call our office on 01256 889397.

When will my stove arrive?

We use a third party courier for all of our deliveries as we deliver nationally. When you place an order from Stoveworld UK, we book in the delivery with our courier and then e-mail you the date on which the delivery has been booked to take place. This is usually within 2-3 working days (busy periods may take longer). If you have a specific delivery day in mind (within the 2-3 day estimate) that is best for you, please add this to the ‘notes’ section and we will aim to get it out for delivery on this day.

Where will the driver leave my stove?

The delivery is a door step/kerbside delivery and the driver is not required to take the goods into the property for insurance reasons. Drivers however do their best to assist you as best as possible and most will help you move the stove. Steps, gravel driveways and narrow gates can prevent the driver leaving the goods in the desired place and in some cases, prevent a delivery altogether.

What happens in case of a delay?

Should there be any delays with a delivery, we aim to let any affected customers know ASAP after we are notified by the couriers. In the rare occurrence of a delay, we are not responsible for any loss of earnings if someone has stayed at home to wait for an item to arrive. We never recommend booking a fitter for the day of delivery; we are not responsible for the installer's time/fee if the stove does not arrive on the advised date.

Do I need to be at home?

All deliveries are made from Monday to Friday, with the usual delivery times being between 8am and 6pm. We do not receive estimated times of deliveries from the couriers, so someone would need to be available all day on the day of delivery. We ask you to leave us a contact number that we can pass on to the couriers as the drivers will usually call 30-45 minutes prior to delivery. If someone cannot be available on the day of the delivery and if we have your authorisation, a delivery can be left at your property in a ‘safe place’ stated by you. These instructions are usually followed without any problem. However, please be aware that taking delivery of a pallet while you are not at home is done at your own risk. We cannot be held liable if the depot does not put the pallet exactly where you want it.
