Eco Design Approved

The Defra Approved 5kw Ecosy+ Purefire Panoramic Slimline range is one of the most up to date stoves on the market.  It has been tested and approved to meet the new Eco Design requirements which was made mandatory for all stoves manufactured from 2022 onwards, making this stove for now and the future. These test results have been approved by HETAS and listed on their official website. The testing for this unit was undertaken by Kiwa Gastec in Cheltenham, a leader in their field.  Find out more about the Eco Design scheme at stoveindustryalliance.com.

Ecosy Stoves is our Hampshire based brand that has designed and developed a large range of new 2022 Eco Design Ready stoves that have been greatly reciveved and reviewed by our thousands of  public and trade customers. In 2017 Ecosy+ were one of the first to launch one of these units and to date is a key member of the SIA (Stove Industry Alliance) helping to shape the future of our industry.

Slimline

This stove answers a lot of customers' problems - they need a physically large wood only stove but can only install one with a 5kw output. This has been achieved with this model by clever design. The external body is very wide (560mm) but the depth of the stove is shallow (314mm). The Purefire also has a twin layer construction - the inner layer has been tapered in at the sides making the fire box slightly smaller and therefore reducing the potential heat output. The firebox is still 400mm wide meaning large logs are not a problem.

A Little Bit More About The Stove

This stove proves there is no need to spend £850+ to get an advanced, good quality stove and has been echoed in the many positive reviews this stove has received to date. Some of the features on this stove include a huge, fully heat-resistant, glass-fronted door that gives an amazing view of the fire. Those of you who have had fires before will know this a big plus of owning a stove. The stove has a fully lazer cut steel body that is machine welded in our factory. Attached to the body is a flawless mineral cast iron door with brushed chrome handle, nicely finishing the stove off. We are so confident of the quality that we offer a 5 year guarantee; something that is not offered on any other stove around this price bracket.

Ecosy+ has tried to give the Defra-approved Panoramic wood burning stove a very minimal aesthetic and have therefore tucked away the air controls under the bottom ash lip which allowed us to increase the glass size for a maximised view of the fire. The stove's air supply is solely drawn in from the rear and regulated by the sliding control on the front. This advanced design makes the stove adaptable for a "direct air feed" which is perfect for new homes. The dimensions of this outlet is 90mm internal diameter and 100mm external diameter. - Note - On a standard install you will not require a direct air feed kit or an air brick installed in the room for this stove. This will only apply for new builds.

Clean Burn System

The Ecosy+ has an advanced seconday/tertiary clean burn system. On more advanced units like this one, it is common to have the air fed in from the rear and split off to be fed under the fire, over the fire (Secondary burn) and over the glass to help keep it clean and clear (Airwash system). The secondary burn feature is a real advantage as this re-burns the initial gasses and smoke produced from the fire. This means you are getting every drop of heat from your fuel and in turn will save you filling the stove up as often, saving you money an 53 600.00 In Stock

DEFRA ApprovedCheap Woodburning Stoves

This version of the 5kw Panoramic has been rigorously tested and approved to burn wood in a smoke controlled zones. Defra approved stoves with 5" flue outlets, like this one, can also be installed with a 5" liner. The Defra approval has been achieved by factory fitting a mechanical stop to prevent secondary air closure beyond the 31mm open position.

Custom Rear Flue Box OptionClean Burn

This unit comes with one optional extra. Rear Flue Box (Note - The unit does come with a 5" top and rear flue outlet as standard). The vertical rear flue box can make certain installations a lot easier and also gives the user a perfectly flat top, perfect for cooking. The vertical rear flue box only protrudes 160mm from the stove rear, whereas a 90 degree bend added to the stoves 5" rear outlet protrudes a minimum of 230mm, allowing the user to use the rear flue option without having the stove stick too far out in the room.

The clearSkies 4 mark tells you that your stove is kinder to the environment. It is an independently assessed endorsement that your stove exceeds all of the latest UK regulations. You've probably heard of the government's EcoDesign directive that ensures all stoves manufactured from 2022 onwards comply with strict environmental measures.

Laboratory Tested

Any stove that has a clearSkies accreditation has been demonstrated to meet scrupulous safety standards for carbon monoxide (CO) and nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions as well as environmental pollution rules that limit the emission of particulate matter (PM) and organic gaseous compounds (OGC). And that's just the lowest of the clearSkies ratings!

Exceeds All Standards

All stoves with the clearSkies 4 rating, such as the Panoramic Traditional, are approved by Defra, the goverment's Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs. Furthermore, they have been tested under laboratory conditions to be even more environmentally friendly than EcoDesign stoves, emitting 15% lower CO, PM, OGC and NOx. So you can feel confident that your new stove has been designed and built for a sustainable, greener future.

Ecosy+ Panoramic Wood Burning Stoves

The Panoramic Range

Panoramic stoves are Ecodesign ready and come in a range of styles and sizes, so there’s a design to fit every home.

Slimline

The original Panoramic is a large wood-only stove that has been made with a smaller internal shell to maintain a 5kw output. This means you can fill a larger fireplace and still have a spectacular view of the fire, but don’t have to worry about installing an air vent (some exceptions apply).

Traditional

The Panoramic Traditional features the same iconic glass front, but the door has been reimagined in a classical style with square details, sitting flatter against the stove than the original and designed to feel at home in a rustic fireplace.

Cast Base

If you have a larger fireplace and are looking for something that will fill it out nicely, the Panoramic with Cast Base or the Panoramic Traditional with Cast Base adds extra height and width and will fit in modern and traditional fireplaces.

Log Store

The Panoramic stove can also be purchased with a fitted log store to really make it a centrepiece. The sturdy log store adds 283mm of height to the stove, and provides a great place to keep plenty of logs warm, dry, and ready to light.

Twin Door

If you are looking for a stove that will really make a statement, the Twin Door Panoramic or the Twin Door Panoramic with Stand are the perfect option. Both make for a stunning centrepiece in a traditional fireplace or freestanding.

Multi-fuel

If you would like to burn smokeless coal as well as wood, we stock a multi-fuel Panoramic and a multi-fuel Panoramic Traditional.
