Overall we would rate this stove as excellent and definately recommend it to others. After considerable research into stoves and with our limited buget we chose the defra approved ottowa 5kw stove. Probably the cheapest defra approved stove we could find with the simple, uncomplicated design we were looking for. The build of the stove is excellent and all controls operate smoothly. The door closes reassuringly tight and the large door window, given the stoves dimension , gives a good view of the flames. The firebox will take 10 inch logs. After the initial paint curing process (you will need to ventilate the room well during curing)we found the stove heated up very quickly and soon began generating heat.We bought an inexpensive stove thermometer which we find invaluable in maintaining optimum stove performance. The Ottowa keeps our though living room very toasty and the central heating is set on minimum to warm upstairs....

Sorry the picture isn't the best but we are still decorating, delivery was great, fire was installed the day after, early signs are great easy to use amazing heat output and when you get to grips with the damper settings then the feeling / duration of burning wood etc is fantastic, top quality product and not just an eye piece but cosy effective easy to use and amazing value of a top product that of compared to other stove companies. We were quoted by a stove company to install a comparison fire without the stone hearth and the estimate was £2,200.00 the total installation of the photo contents by a qualified installer was £940.00 the main reason being that of the cost of the stove from yourselves. Thanks again and we're really happy

Hey guys
Stove is great - installed it this week and now on it's second burn - picture attached.
Great size for a large open plan room, heat is moving nicely into the rest of the house so looking forward to running it on full burn. Looks great. Having a "cool" hearth model made installing much easier.

Fantastic stove at a great price. Provides heat to all the radiators in our 4 bedroom granite house. Doesn't overheat the room it's situated in which was an initial concern. The stove window is massive and gives an awesome view of the fire. Highly recommended.

I am happy with purchase and would recommend it to others.
I was sceptical at first that it would make much difference. My stove is a very efficient Nero 8 and is inset into the chimney breast which is recessed into the wall. The fan was originally placed on top of the stove to the front and appeared to make little to no difference to the room temperature. At this point I considered sending it back but then remembered reading something about placing them at the rear of the stove which makes a lot of sense. Once I did this it was clear that it was raising the ambient temperature of the room. I do not have a thermometer in the rooms but would guess that the temperature goes up by 2-3 degrees.
I think everyone who has a stove should have a fan. If recessed into the wall they are not intrusive. It's totally silent and you are maximising the efficiency of the stove by utilising more of the heat that the stove already produce.

Apologies that this is a bit late, but we were waiting for our Ottowa 12kw to be installed.
We are very happy indeed with this stove, we wanted something that looked more contemporary with a single door that would give us a great view of the fire. We haven't been disappointed, we were so impressed with the speedy response from Stoveworld, the delivery and also the instructions which we found easy to follow to get us going.
Not a very technical appraisal I know but I can only say I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Stoveworld UK to anyone else purchasing a stove and this model in particular has met and exceeded our expectations.

Brilliant service and great company to deal with. I ordered my stove late Saturday evening and it got delivered weds morning.
I had to email to change my telephone number on the invoice, this was not a problem and the Delivery driver called half an hour before delivering the stove, it's a very heavy item and I would have been able to move it myself but this was not an issue for the helpful deliver driver, who brought it directly into my house for me.
Overall this was a very easy and helpful company to deal with and I highly recommend them.

We asked a stove fitter for a supplier and make to go for (who better to ask) he recomended Stove World UK and to look at the Nero 11.
Well what can we say! what an amazing stove for the money and looks great and even better loaded with logs displayed through the large glass.
Totally changed the look and feel of our room would certainly give this stove ten out of ten.

Perfect stove, good quality enamel, would buy another one if other room a a later date, once I sort out the flue.
