We have had ours for two months now and used it almost every day.I decided to put an updated review on because I am so pleased with this product but found Penny had already written what I was thinking. Only slight problem we had was that when new and the door was closed, there was a slight gap in the seal on the opening side. The stove still worked fine but some soot formed on the window near the handle. The rope seal on the hinge side needed to compress and after a couple of weeks the rope squashed down and door now seals fine. Excellent stove really pleased.

We purchased this in February and what a difference this has made to our house. The heat is terrific and so so comfortable to be nice and warm. The Cosy22 is outstanding and according to the installer was a breeze to fit. The service from ordering to delivery was above expectations and I would definitely deal with Stove-world again.
The only disappointment was the glove as a hole has appeared in the thumb stitching, thought it was going to be a logo glove but not the end of the world

I have had one of these stoves for about 6 months now and it's been great from day one. Easy to control the draw and with the right wood you have to be careful not to let it get too hot, even with just one log, it works so well. Build quality and finish are good. You can touch the handle with bare hands under most conditions and the front and rear vents are easy to operate as is the griddle. I often cook casseroles on the top in a cast iron pot which works well.
I have not managed to get the overnight burn to work when burning wood, perhaps I'm not doing it right. Also, if you let it get too hot (>250 degreesC on the flue temp gauge) it releases a smell. It did this for quite a few burns but seems to have stopped now. These are my only gripes.
It's a very good value product and its just as effective and efficient as more expensive stoves and I think it is much better looking too. Very happy overall.

Fantastic stoves...we got 2 one for each room and are excellent am really pleased with this product would definately recommend to family and friends

An update to my previous review: We've now been running the A228 on wood all winter. We don't have central heating, so it is burning every day. Can't fault it. We cut our own logs, so a wider firebox is a god-send. The airwash is so good that we don't have to clean the glass - but when we do it needs no more than a spray of flash and a wipe with a sponge to look like it just left the factory. We have found it can be run frugally without getting sooty. No issues with build quality, and it looks superb.

We have had this stove for over a month now and absolutely love it. My husband was hesitant about getting something so much cheaper than the rest of the market but the quality really is fantastic, it was less than half the price of similar stoves. It heats our large kitchen which was previously two rooms really well and our heating bill has already come down. We have moved our old carron stove into the sitting room and I'd say it's a poor relative in comparison. Looks fab too, has a retro look which fits perfectly with our kitchen design.

I also bought this to replace a higher rated cast iron stove & although it's only been in a couple of days & is still being treated gently am already aware that it produces significantly more heat than the old one. It also does so far quicker, using probably less than half the fuel. At this rate it'll pay for itself by the summer!I bought the flue adaptor to join our existing 6 inch flue & although at £25 it's expensive for what it is it was still the sensible option.
After i ordered i was kept up to date on delivery, which was only a couple of days. I even got a courtesy call from the driver a couple of hours before he arrived.
Overall i am very satisfied on service, value & of course the product itself.

Very very good information when i emailed the company to ask questions about the fire .great delivery serves .an the fire ones lit warmed the lounge in five mins an the entire house with in half an hour i do have a eco fan to push the heat out into the room an around the house .i have recommended this company an this fire to at least a dozen ppl sins i got it so i would like to say a BIG thank you to coseyfire an there team . with thanks lee an claire an family
