My Wife found this Victoria Stove on a search. Its one I would never have considered, (I thought too big a heat output and had not considered a "cooker type" unit) but i'm eternally grateful she did ! We went for the cheaper non water heating one.
In practice, you can make the fire as fierce or tame as you want. Its real nice to have the option to really get it going and bask in the heat. Huge Logs will fit in for ages long burn and minimal attention needed. The under fire log store is really handy, being hot enough to dry logs a little more, but not hot enough to be a fire risk. We stack a huge amount of logs under there. maybe a weeks worth of 4 hour evening fires ?
Were just starting into our second cold season and I am thrilled to be lighting up the fire again. It not only provides "real fire" appeal to our kitchen diner, it heats our whole house, provides huge cooking hotplate area and oven, PLUS, when we put large pots of water on the hotplate to heat up, we get enough hot water to wash the evening dishes AND have a decent bath ! Seriously, i'm not joking......our energy bills are tiny by todays standards. If you can get cheap wood, there is no more efficient and easy way to get the best bang for your buck (and it looks good! better than the rocket mass heater I built.)
I can aslo give a glowing review to the guys at STOVE WORLD UK. Great communication re delivery of the beast, but also in handling a gripe over what was really a minor weld quality issue. The part affected was the left hand hotplate which has the removable disc for rapid boiling a pan. The disc didn't sit 100% flat and I could see it was an uneven weld of the ledge it sits on............The guys replaced the part free of charge and were great about it.
Its so nice to be able to recommend a product soo strongly. Its amazing value for money, quality that surpasses expectations by miles, I still cant quite believe it is so good for the money.........It really has made our home. It must sound like I have shares in stove world, but I dont, its just THE best stove cooker type thing you possible buy, even at twice the price i'd be raving.
Many thanks Stove World. Great Product !

Just a quick message to than Karl and staff for excellent service. I bought a 4.5Kwh stove 3 years ago and it has been brilliant. In fact the tenants who've used it said they hardly needed to use the central heating. It needed a part this month (October 2014) and Stoveworld had my details were on their database so I got right part for right stove with no trouble. Great service.

Installed this stove one week ago and am very impressed considering the price difference to the leading brands and installers quotes. The controls work well and the wide glass window is very impressive when the stove is in action.
It is still early days but would recommend stove world for quality and for service, as the stove and all parts were delivered on time, within three working days!

Heavy lump of a thing, with decent seals and simple draft controls top and bottom. Not fussy to light and keep lit, with no smoke-back issues. Fairly frugal running a small cheery fire or a larger fire burning more slowly. Easily stays in overnight if needed. Looking forward to working it hard this winter.

We have had one of these wood burners for a year now and it made last winter a lot more pleasurable, the heat it gives out is fantastic.
