This burner was recommended by a local installer and after reviewing many burners this came up trumps. Very easy to look through websites and the ordering process was very easy. We requested a date and although not guaranteed, as an external delivery company we got the date we asked for. We unpacked it the night before installation and it was packaged well and arrived in perfect condition. Our installer showed us what to do with lighting and we were very impressed with the style and ease of use.

Ordered a grate online , but then noticed that stoveworld also had the throating plate I needed. I emailed that night and a nice man took a payment over the phone next day, and packaged both articles, saving me an additional postage charge.

Kit arrived promptly. Have refurbished the door and ropes and adhesive are good. One issue you only receive four glass retainers, however my Ottawa 12kw has six! Salvaged 2 old ones to re use, so kit could do with an update.

Our home had its chimneys removed at some point in the past, so the cost to add in a new flue for a wood burning stove was far higher than we wanted. But we weren't sure if bioethanol stoves be warm enough or look right.
We took the plunge and weren't disappointed. The delivery was on the day we requested, it was easy to setup and put in our fireplace hearth. We purchased this panoramic model as it can take more fuel than most other models and has a larger window for a great view of the fire.
The drawback is that you cannot quickly refuel the stove once it's out and a litre of fuel lasts about 2.5-3 hours with the grate fully open.
Most of the heat does go straight up (even with the blanking plate), so initially we found this was only marginally heating the room because it was sitting inside the hearth. However, after adding a stove fan, we found this made a huge difference, increasing the temp of our living room by at least 4C.

Just an update on the first review. This stove is great. it's easy to get to grips with, and it burns everything down to nothing, which is a change from my previous Hunter 6 D/S. the other morning I laid the fire for later lighting, and took the dogs out for a walk. I came back to find the fire had lit itself. This might not suit everyone, but I thought that was testament to how this stove retains heat.
