Stoveworld UK service was superb. They processed and dispatched my order quickly and efficiently, which was excellent especially given it was the festive holiday.
The beam arrived extremely well packaged. The beam has not been fitted yet, but I am certainly really pleased with how good it looks.

This is a cracking stove,easily heats my large kitchen in an old stone house,and has enough space on top for 2 or 3 pans.The Defra mechanism is fairly aggresive,ie it is very hard to slow down the rate of burning,so have to be carefull not to overload it with fuel,as it will likely get too hot.I use a stove pipe thermometer to monitor the heat,(everyone with a burner should).If you do not empty the ash,and let it build up,this will help slow the burn rate down a bit,also larger logs can help.The ash pan is awkward to remove,as there is a lip in the way,this also makes it harder to clear any ash that does not end up in the ash tray.I almost tempted to cut that lip out with an angle grinder,but this might be overkill.Not tried smokeless fuel on it yet,but works really well with wood,and the fire box is a decent size,although would be nice if t was a bit deeper.

Stove is a lovely addition to my home. Fits perfectly in my fireplace.
Handle to open door gets extremely hot. I need to wear a fire retardant glove.

Excellent Stove. Superb heat heating entire house no problem. Would appreciate operating instructions though as I still can not work out how to make use of the thermostat as yet. I would recommend this stove to anyone looking to get a stove.

Grate was reasonably priced which was a big draw for us. Also, now that it is in use it is proving its worth daily and standing up to the high temperatures of the log burner. It is a good universal shape and size as we thought we might struggle to get one to fit. All in all, we are well pleased.

Delivered in A1 condition on time and a helpful driver
Would have been better if the rosetta ring for terminating the flue had been available..would still like this to be sent
Delighted with the appearance and build quality of the Hampton.. Factory smell on the first few burns was quite overpowering. Settled down now but still needs a fair amount of ventilation
Amazed that no one has thought of external controls to operate the postion of the burner cover.. this must be a major safety, convenience and design opportunity for someone at StoveWorld
