The stove design industry is changing fast. With a view to the future, members of the Stove Industry Alliance (SIA) have worked together to develop a new breed of wood burning stoves that are more economical, efficient and kinder to the planet than ever before.
The Ecodesign Ready scheme is an EU initiative to reduce harmful emissions all over Europe.
Recent studies by KIWA GASTEC have found Ecodesign Ready stoves can offer a 90% reduction in particulates compared to an open fire and 80-94% compared to an old stove.
Through our manufacturing arm, Ecosy+ Stoves, we have developed a broad range of Ecodesign stoves that not only meet but exceed the Ecodesign regulations. Ecosy+ developed its first Ecodesign model way back in 2017 and the company is continuously working on fresh innovations to balance performance and usability.
