Leo Cylindrical – Scandinavian Style Meets Modern Bioethanol Heating

The Leo Cylindrical is a 100% bioethanol fire, inspired by the clean, modern lines of Scandinavian-style cylindrical stoves. Designed for both form and function, this stove is more than just a decorative feature — it’s a practical, easy-to-install, and reliable alternative to a traditional wood-burning stove.

With three curved glass panels, the Leo Cylindrical offers an uninterrupted 360° view of the flame, creating a warm and inviting focal point from any angle. It’s perfect as a free-standing centrepiece in the middle of a room or positioned neatly in a corner.

No chimney or flue is required for operation. What you see in the main video or images is purely decorative — though optional flue kits are available if you’d like to enhance the realism and traditional look.

A perfectly balanced stove, the Leo Cylindrical stands out for its superior build quality. Weighing in at nearly 40kg, it is significantly heavier than many similar-sized models on the market, which often weigh as little as 20kg. The Technology

Bio fuel is an extremely efficient, renewable product made from waste organic matter.

The Leo will arrive with the bio kit in place. This kit includes a sturdy cradle that holds the burner box and prevents the fuel from tipping out. Inside is a stainless steel box which contains an absorbent material that soaks up the liquid and slowly burns it, creating a lovely flame without any smoke or odour. This means that no chimney is required and the stove can be used almost anywhere.

To use the Leo stove, carefully fill the burner box and then light the fire. That's it - it's so simple! And there is no need to get up and adjust the vents, either. Just let it burn until it burns no more. Or, if you want to extinguish the fire before it burns out, just close the flap with the tool provided.

Option 2:

The "Complete Bio Flue – Large" is designed for those looking to position their stove freestanding against a wall rather than inside a chimney. It creates the realistic effect of a chimney emerging from the top of the stove, turning 90 degrees, and passing through the wall, just like a traditional wood-burning stove setup. ( This flue cannot be used with any of lengths that we sell ) 

The " Telescopic 90 Degree Pure Bio Flue " allows you to position the stove exactly where you want it while maintaining the correct air gaps. It is compatible with all current bio stoves that we sell and should also suit the majority of others sold online.  No seals or screws are required. The pipe simply sits on top of the stove and magnetically attaches to the metal surface. The opposite end features a rim that creates a realistic impression of a working flue venting through the wall. Ventilation holes have been incorporated into the flue to prevent any potential heat build-up inside. Offers a maximum length of 351mm and shortest length of 251mm. Option 3: Italian-made vitreous enamel flue pipes.

These pipes are the perfect thickness (0.7mm) as they will help with the overall output whilst still being solid and substantial-looking. Each length of flue can slot into another. For example, you could purchase a 500mm length, a 90-degree bend, and a wall/ceiling ring together. Alternatively, if you're placing the stove in the middle of the room and want the flue to finish at ceiling height, you might choose 2 x 1000mm lengths along with a wall/ceiling ring. (All flue pipes can be cut down to size.) These setups will create the visual effect of the stove's flue venting through the wall or ceiling—just like a real woodburner. This model will also include a small plate which fixes to the outlet and reduces heat loss up the flue and pushes it back down into the room. Leo Cylindrical 360 Pure Bio Features

• Is it safe? Yes, Bio fires are extremely safe and stable, providing you read the safety warnings prior to use. One of the key safety measures is to never re-fuel when the fire is lit.
• What fuel should I use? There are a number of companies that sell bio fuel online. EkoFuel and Planika to name just two. Please note: We are not affiliated with the manufacturers of this product, and this is not a direct endorsement. The information provided is for reference and guidance only.
• Burn Time: Around 3 to 4 hours per 1 litre of fuel, with the vent fully open. With the vent half closed we have managed to keep it burning for over 5 hours and 30 minutes. The flame pattern does look best when fully open though, so there is a trade off.
• Heat Output: Around 2.5kw (An electric heater on medium) - We would suggest bio stoves are used as a secondary source of heating, but recent feedback would suggest they can heat rather large rooms quite nicely. The rooms in question have been newer built homes which are well insulated. However, it will still have an effect on older, less well insulated rooms too.
• Weight: 40g - Full steel body and door - For a heavier unit with cast door, we would suggest the Hampton Vista 500 Pure Bio stove.
• This model will include a small plate which fixes to the outlet and reduces heat loss up the flue and pushes it back down into the room. Great for if you are using the flue options.
• Perfect for media wall installations.

• Can be sat directly onto a tiled floor. If the stove is being sat on a carpet, we would suggest sitting it on a hearth to prevent ruining the carpet.
• No set distances to combustible materials, similar to an oil fired radiator or electric heater.
• We recommend placing the stove in a well-ventilated room with a volume of at least 20 cubic meters.
• Do not place the stove in a room with a strong draught, as this can negatively affect its performance.
