Ecosy+ Nordliv Pure Bio Stove

The Ecosy+ Nordliv is a unique pure bio ethanol stove constructed with a blend of thick steel and glass. Designed around the simplistic design cues of modern and efficient Scandinavian stoves, this stove will truly be the centrepiece of a modern, design led room. It is designed solely for burning bioethanol fuel, meaning there is no need for a chimney. The stove produces a real flame and gives out a generous amount of heat.

Access to the burner is through the well engineered stainless steel tabs on either side, which close magnetically. The stove is ideal for a modern freestanding setup and works very well with our "all in one" Complete Bio Flue to create the real stove look. It can also be fitted into a fireplace chamber, although access from either side means we suggest a minimum opening of 900mm.

As with all Ecosy+ bio stoves, the balance of quality and functionality is carefully considered, resulting in a stove that looks and feels great and also performs reliably.

The stove includes as standard a long heatproof stainless steel closing bar seen in the images. However, any ceramic log, coal or pebble accessories are extra.

The Technology

Biofuel is an extremely efficient, renewable product made from waste organic matter.

The Nordliv Bio Stove will arrive with the Bio Kit in place. This kit includes a sturdy cradle that holds the burner box and prevents the fuel from tipping out. Inside this stainless steel box is an absorbent material that soaks up the liquid and slowly burns it, creating a lovely flame without any smoke or odour. This means that no chimney is required, and the stove can be used almost anywhere.

To use the stove, carefully fill the burner box and then light the fire. That's it - it's so simple! And there is no need to get up and adjust the vents either, just let it burn until it burns no more. If you want to extinguish the fire before it burns out, just close the flap with the tool provided.

Option List

Option 1:

We offer two log options: a ceramic set and a cement set, both of which are shown in the gallery. Please note that the logs should not be laid directly over the flame.

Refuel your bioethanol fireplace cleanly and safely with this purpose-designed filling funnel. Created specifically for ethanol burners, it helps reduce spills and improves control during refilling.

Option 2:

The "Complete Bio Flue – Large" is designed for those looking to position their stove freestanding against a wall rather than inside a chimney. It creates the realistic effect of a chimney emerging from the top of the stove, turning 90 degrees, and passing through the wall, just like a traditional wood-burning stove setup. NB. This flue cannot be used with any of the lengths of flue that we sell. For example, it cannot be combined with the flue pipe from Option 3 below.

The "Telescopic 90 Degree Pure Bio Flue" allows you to position the stove exactly where you want it while maintaining the correct air gaps. It is compatible with all current bio stoves that we sell and should also suit the majority of others sold online.  No seals or screws are required. The pipe simply sits on top of the stove and magnetically attaches to the metal surface. The opposite end features a rim that creates a realistic impression of a working flue venting through the wall. Ventilation holes have been incorporated into the flue to prevent any potential heat build-up inside. Offers a maximum length of 351mm and shortest length of 251mm. Full listing of this product can be seen here - Telescopic 90 Degree Pure Bio / Electric Fire Flue

Option 3:

We also offer high-quality 0.7 mm Italian-made vitreous enamel flue pipes. These provide an excellent balance of strength, appearance, and performance, and each section slots neatly together for a clean, professional finish.

A 500 mm or 1000 mm length is ideal for installations inside a chimney, while 90° bends and wall rings can be combined with additional lengths for freestanding setups where the "Complete Bio Flue" isn’t suitable. There are no limits to how many sections can be joined together, allowing full flexibility in your installation.

Each model includes a small heat retention plate that fits to the outlet, reducing heat loss up the flue and helping to push more warmth back into the room.

Option 4: Truncated 20mm Honed Granite Hearth - These granite hearths are the perfect addition for a free-standing install. We also offer a wide range of other granite hearth options which you can explore through the provided link. https://www.stoveworlduk.co.uk/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=959&search=truncated+hearth

Nordliv Features

  • Usage: Is it safe? Yes, bio fires are extremely safe and stable, providing you read the safety warnings prior to use. One of the key safety measures is to never re-fuel when the fire is lit.
  • Usage: Burn Time: Around 3 hours per 1 litre of fuel. The capacity is around 2 litres, so a maximum burn time of around 5-6 hours can be achieved. We have tested them here and have made 1 litre last nearly 4 hours with the vent fully open. With it half closed, this would be even longer.
  • Usage: What fuel should I use? There are a number of companies that sell bio fuel online. EkoFuel and Planika to name just two.
  • Usage: 2 litre maximum capacity. 1.5 litre standard fill.
  • Usage: Approximate running costs are £1.00 to £1.50 per hour, depending on the fuel and quantity that you buy.
  • Usage: No set distances to combustible materials for the stove itself - Similar to an oil fired radiator or electric heater.
  • Usage: We recommend placing the stove in a well-ventilated room with a volume of at least 25 cubic meters.
  • Usage: Do not place the stove in a room with a strong draught, as this can negatively affect its performance.
  • Usage: Can be sat directly onto a tiled floor or even carpet. If the stove is being sat on a carpet, we would suggest sitting it on a hearth to prevent ruining the carpet whilst giving it a more genuine stove look.
  • Output: Heat Output: Around 2.5 to 3kw (An electric heater on medium). We would suggest bio stoves are used as a secondary source of heating, but recent feedback would suggest they can heat whole rooms quite nicely. The rooms in question have been modern homes which are well insulated, as opposed to older, less well insulated properties.
  • Detail: Non spill (unique design helped out by the stove's weight).
  • Detail: Weight: 51kg.
  • Detail: Safety glass on all 3 sides
  • Detail: Side opening with stainles ssteel and magnetic fixings
  • Detail: Leveling bolts for uneven surfaces
  • Detail: Finished in matt black heat resistant paint
  • Detail: This model will include a small plate which fixes to the outlet and reduces heat loss up the flue and pushes it back down into the room.
  • Detail: Ceramic logs or pebbles can be added. We do sell the logs as an option on checkout.
  • Detail: Perfect for media wall installations and freestanding
