The above includes everything needed for most standard installations, except for the register/blanking plate. We've left this out of the kit as some installers prefer to cut their own, and sizes can vary. However, we do offer them separately.

About the stove and how it works

Designed by our sister company, Ecosy+ of Hampshire, this advanced wood-burning stove brings together the best features from their extensive range. With tens of thousands of stoves sold, Ecosy+ has applied its years of expertise to create a reliable, stylish, and highly efficient stove.

The Signature surpasses models costing over £1,000, offering exceptional quality and performance at an unbeatable price. Its large heat-resistant ceramic glass front provides an uninterrupted view of the fire, enhancing the ambiance of any space.

One of the stove's standout features is its internal shell —essentially a stove within a stove. Air is drawn in from the rear, channelled between two layers of steel, and precisely distributed over the fire through a series of strategically placed holes. This process achieves two key benefits:

• Effective Secondary Burn – The high-positioned air introduction helps re-burn smoke and pollutants, increasing efficiency and reducing emissions.
• Self-Cleaning Glass – The remaining air accelerates as it rises, creating a protective air curtain over the glass to help keep it clean and free of smoke stains.

As a dedicated wood-burning stove, the Signature does not require a multi-fuel grate or ash pan, as wood burns best directly on the firebox base. The interior is lined with 30mm thick vermiculite boards, which protect the stove's shell, while the durable steel baffle is removable for easy chimney sweeping.

A precision-engineered side dial provides exceptional control over the fire, mechanically linked to the vent plate for smooth, responsive adjustments. The 30mm thick virgin ore cast iron door helps retain and gradually release heat, working in tandem with the stove's thick steel body to keep your space warm for longer.

The stove is completed with a brushed chrome dial, combining modern aesthetics with effortless functionality. Unlike many stoves with overly complex mechanisms, the Signature is designed for long-term reliability, ensuring ease of use and cost-effective maintenance.

7 Year Guarantee

This covers the stove's body and not the internal perishable parts like grates and fire bricks. Guarantee is activated when the stove is invoiced. 6 digit number on the top of each invoice is the warranty number. For stove to be covered it must be installed by a HETAS / OFTEC engineer or signed off by building control.

DEFRA Approved

This version of the 5kw Signature has been rigorously tested and approved to burn wood in smoke controlled zones. Defra approved stoves with 5" flue outlets, like this one, can also be installed with a 5" liner. The Defra approval has been achieved by factory fitting a mechanical stop to prevent secondary air closure beyond the 31mm open position. When ordering over the phone please specify that you require the DEFRA version.

• Option: Ceramic glass is not covered under the guarantee for any stove on the market. Ceramic glass is fully heat resistant but will break if struck with a log, or similarly hard object. This glass is expensive, but for a small fee we are offering to guarantee it for a full year. This covers any accidental chips or cracks and photographic evidence will be required. This covers one claim only, not multiple breakages.
• Option: Custom Rear Flue Box - Easier to fit and clean. Also reduces the distance that the stove is pushed away from the wall. 

Stove Construction

The Signature is a "hybrid" stove and its body is constructed from quality Q235B carbon steel that has been chosen for its plasticity, toughness and weldability. The door is made from very thick mineral cast iron that helps retain the heat and slowly release it into the room. Having a cast iron door also enables us to add features like the shallow curves on the top and bottom. The internal lining is vermiculite and the grate is constructed from heavy duty cast iron and includes an ash pan. The stove weighs over 90kg
