Love this stove. It is very easy to use and creates a really cosy atmosphere. The ceramic logs look great and add to the realistic effect. We don’t have a huge amount of space above the stove so most of the heat generated just gets absorbed into the brick. It brings up ambient temperature by 1-1.5 degrees, so definitely a secondary heat source.
Stove is solid, looks great. But if buying the bio ethanol version do not expect a great flame or heat output. The flame is a lot smaller and might dissapoint.
This is not a reflection on the stove but of generally the limitations of using bio ethanol fuel.
I would buy this stove again and it is one of the best value ones in the UK and I did lots of research before buying.
Absolutely love my stove! When I ordered it it was out of stock, so was not not expecting to receive it this side of Christmas based on other websites I’ve looked at, but was delighted to get a call to say they were back in stock and I received minea week after ordering. Delivery was straightforward and the delivery guy was friendly. As for the wood burner, it is just what I hoped for, it gives a great effect and does give off enough heat to take the chill out the room. Looks beautiful too. Thoroughly recommend the product and the company.
Bioethanol stove: Great customer service. Great product. 4.5h of heat per litre. Rapidly heats large room from 16 to 22 deg C. We use suggested Ekco fuel. No smell after 1st use. Works out to cost less than 28p/kWh. Can also heat up small pot of water for drinks! Great for power cuts too. No cleaning. Easy to use. Win, win!
I bought this bio-ethanol burner a few months ago, but waited until now to review it. I was impressed with how quickly it was delivered and the service and helpfulness of the driver to at least help me lift it through the front door!
The build of the burner is quite solid and robust, which was exactly what I had been looking for, as most other burners tend to be of an aluminium frame. When lit it doesn't take long for the room to heat up. My house is mid victorian and the sitting room is approx.4m x 4m with a ceiling height of 2.6m. Within 10 to15 mins the room was cosy and warm. In fact as time went on I had to open the door a few times because of the heat produced. This was my first test and I did have the fire on full! For a litre of fuel it burnt for 4 hours and was incredibly warm.
I have since half covered the flame which has extended the burn time to 6 hours. The room was still warm and comfortable.
Excellent service and delivery. The stove was really well packaged . The stove is heavy and looks great in our room and gives out alot more heat than expected. Very happy with our new stove .
Super happy with our little bio stove from Stove World. Completes the room beautifully and the choice of handles helps match your interior perfectly. Used it for the first time last night and you can definitely feel the difference in temperature in the room. Service from Stove World was amazing as well, would highly recommend the company!
