Regular maintainance of your multi-fuel stove sometimes involves replacing the fire rope seal around the door and the glass, as this can become perished over time. This replacement fire rope kit is suitable for all Ottawa / Panoramic / Snug / Hampton / Purefire / Newburn models - Ecluding the Ottawa 21kw / Ottawa 30kw Boiler Stoves 

Whats included:

3 meters of heat resistant door rope 

2 meters of heat resistant glass rope 

- Calfire heat resistant fire rope adhesive

- Glass brackets and screws

These are the correct diameter ropes for the decribed models. However,  They will always arrive longer and require cutting down with a pair of scissors. A small piece of carbon tape is provided to cap the end.

Fitting: We would suggest removing the door if possible and laying it on its back. You need to clean the channel out of excess gunk and then lay a fresh trail of glue. Lay the rope in the groove, ensuring it is not stretched out. Once you come to the end, cut the rope with a sharp pair of scissors, and cap the end with the carbon tape..
