Made from thick 20mm granite, these hearths are the perfect choice for your bioethanol or electric stove. Manufactured from the same material and thickness as the hearths supplied with our wood-burning stoves, they offer a genuine, high-quality finish for your installation.

Unlike wood-burning stoves, which require a minimum hearth size of 840mm x 840mm, bioethanol and electric stoves are not subject to the same regulations. This allows for a much smaller footprint, helping to reduce the visual impact within your room, as traditional stove hearths can often feel quite imposing.

These hearths provide a strong, durable base for your stove while maintaining a sleek, space-saving design. They are compatible with all current bioethanol and electric models we supply; however, please ensure your stove’s footprint fits within the dimensions provided. The hearth shown in the main image features the Hampton Vista 500 Pedestal for reference. 

All of our stone hearths are expertly honed finished and have a smooth, elegant appearance. The matte finish goes very well with the majority of stoves that are also finished this way.

Caring for Your New Hearth

As a natural stone product, each Teardrop Honed Granite Hearth may exhibit variations in markings and patterning, adding to its unique charm and character.

All of our stone hearths arrived unsealed. They can either remain this way, or you have the freedom to choose your desired finish. It is very important to ensure that your hands are clean, prior to touching the stone. Care is also required when manoeuvring your stove onto the hearth, as they can scratch easily, especially when unsealed. We would suggest placing something on top of the hearth and lifting it out, once in place.  

Due to the weight of the stone, combined with your stove, there will be no need for fixing. Please note that sealant or fixing materials may alter the colour or leave marks on the stone over time.

Dimensions -  Each straight edge is 750mm -  750mm is also the maximum it will protrude from the corner of the wall into the room.
