Rome 54" Marble Fire Surround

Crafted from solid lilac marble, this fireplace offers a chic yet timeless look, making it the perfect addition to both modern and traditional homes. Unlike hollowed-out alternatives, each component is carved from a single, substantial piece of marble, highlighting its durability and elegance. A true centrepiece, this fireplace pairs beautifully with an open fire, gas stove, wood stove, or even a fireplace insert.

The polished finish enhances the dark, deep purple veining in each piece, adding richness and depth to the overall design. 

Each surround features a 25mm rebate for cast iron inserts (if applicable).  If no insert is being used, the opening can be boarded out or infill strips can be added to fill the gap. Please note that we do not currently supply these strips/slips. (See technical drawing for exact dimensions.)

• 1 x Marble Fireplace. The fireplace will come in 3 pieces that will be expertly packed inside a strong crate. Each piece is solid marble, so will need at least 2 people to carry each piece. 
• 1 x generic fixing kit is included with the fireplace; however, please note that individual fitters may have their own preferred methods for securing or bonding the surround. We strongly recommend that the fireplace is installed by a qualified professional to ensure it is safely and correctly fitted.
• The fireplace has a 25mm rebate on each leg to allow the fitting of fireplaces (see main description) 
• Hearth / Stoves etc shown in picture is not included, along with the strip across the front. The listing is for the fireplace itself, shown on its own in the gallery images and drawings

Marble fire surrounds are very heavy and can be fragile. While they are extremely well-packed to prevent damage during transit - and it is rare for issues to occur during delivery - they can be damaged if not handled carefully during installation.

We understand it may not always be possible to inspect the goods before signing, especially when items are securely and thoroughly packaged. However, we kindly ask that all items are fully unpacked and inspected within 24 hours of receipt.

If you notice any damage that is not consistent with the natural characteristics of the marble, please notify us via email within this 24-hour period. Any issues reported within this timeframe will be resolved promptly and at our expense.

Please note: Damage reported after this 24-hour window may not be covered, as damage can occur during handling or installation. Ensuring the surround is professionally installed will help prevent such issues.
