I had this stove installed at the end of last summer.
Unfortunately I'm not impressed at all. Initially the vent levers jammed solid and I was instructed by stove world to just "whack them with a piece of wood"
The the bottom vent has never really seemed to do very much at all. And the top vent is not effective at keeping the glass clear. It always fogs up in lines down the window.
It is also not very effective at heating our average size living room. It eventually starts to kick out a bit of heat after about two hours but not that much considering how much wood has been burnt to achieve this.
I should have knocked out the rest of the fireplace and installed a free standing one in the living room instead of an inset. It's probably what I'll end up doing.
Can't say I would recommend installing one of these inset stoves unless you absolutely have no other option.

As a stove fitter and heating engineer I fit a lot of stoves and fireplaces and the Ecosy Hampton is up there with the best I’ve fitted.

The log burner was delivered within two days, really good service, and a great price for such a well made burner, even the installer was impressed. Looks really good set in the fireplace and throws out plenty of heat, even the sight of the flames warms us up! Highly recommend log burner, heavy cast iron, good quality appliance.
A quality stove which looks brilliant in the old hearth. It is incredibly efficient & simple to use. Delivery was quick & communication brilliant. All round A++
