Beautiful stove and looks lovely now installed. Was unsure on the chrome strip at the bottom however I am really pleased. Everything was perfect but the only negative I would say is delivery. I did not get a call from the courier at all so I had to contact the couriers themselves to find out when they were delivering and that was through a lot of searching. I appreciate that it is stated it is a curb side delivery but it left me in a predicament where I had to leave the stove outside until the fitters could come to move it in on day of installation as it was so heavy and I could not lift it myself and had no one who was able to assist me. This probably should be considered by the company but other than this everything was great.
Could not face another winter like last year so took advantage of the summer deal.
Delivery was so quick, it caute me unprepared. No complaint, it meant I lost a couple of pounds and trimmed my waist in carrying/dragging the packed stove into my office.
Superbly packaged and very easy to install. The preliminary burns indicated the efficiency of wood to be used. The recommended curing times were achieved, using only twigs and a couple of 4" X 2" sections of timber.
Today is first rime of proper use and I may have to shield computer from the increasing heat. Terrific.
I bought this stove to replace a 40 year old villager that had done it’s time and what a difference it has made.
It’s so controllable and efficient that if the few small fires I’ve had are anything to go by then I should half the amount of wood that I previously used.
The delivery driver was an absolute star and kept me updated all of the way and he couldn’t do enough to help.
My fitter was also very impressed with the stove for ease of fitting and build quality and it was at a great price.
