Canopy and Cast Iron Base
Canopied stoves hark back to an earlier age, when grand hearths formed the heart of the home and stoves were crafted to fill wide, imposing fireplaces. Ecosy+ combines this traditional style with modern sensibilities. The cast iron base elevates the stove from below, while the canopy adds additional height above, creating a beautifully balanced overall look. This makes it an ideal choice for large fireplaces, especially in older homes, and the Panoramic’s slimline technology allows the stove to take up a large space while keeping its 5kw output.
About the Stove
The Panoramic range was one of the very first ecodesign ready stoves when launched way back in 2017. Constantly evolving and a firm favourite with stove installers up and down the country. The stove has been designed by our manufacturing partner Ecosy+ stoves of Hampshire before being sent off to the renowned Kiwa Gastec to be rigorously tested. These tests showed that all Panoramic models exceed the very tough SIA ecodesign regulations. In addition to this, they have also been approved for use in smoke-free zones (Defra Approved). Exceeding the Ecodesign testing is a true mark of a quality stove; inferior products that are not as well engineered will often fail these tests. The Ecosy+ stove brand, along with the other key UK stove brands, is a member of the SIA and submits documentation which verify the technical claims displayed as legitimate. Want to find out more? Slimline
This stove answers a lot of customers' problems - they need a physically large wood only stove but can only install one with a 5kw output. This has been achieved with this model by clever design. The external body is very wide (600mm) but the depth of the stove is shallow (340mm). The Panoramic also has a twin layer construction - the inner layer has been tapered in at the sides making the fire box slightly smaller and therefore reducing the potential heat output. The firebox is still 400mm wide meaning large logs are not a problem.
Clean Burn System - Secondary / Tertiary Burn
The hidden gem of this stove is its internal shell - effectively another stove inside the stove, where air is drawn in from the stove's rear, fed between two layers of steel and precisely dispersed over the fire through a series of holes inside the chamber. Having the air introduced high up in the chamber is an effective way of re-burning the initial smoke and pollutants created by the fire before they are released up the chimney. The air that is not dispersed through these holes speeds up as it rises over the fire and is released like a curtain of air over the glass, helping it to keep clean and clear of smoke stains.
5 Year Guarantee
This covers the stove's body and not the internal perishable parts like grates and fire bricks. Guarantee is activated when the stove is invoiced. 6 digit number on the top of each invoice is the warranty number. For stove to be covered it must be installed by a HETAS engineer or signed off by building control.
DEFRA Approved
This version of the 5kw Panoramic with Canopy has been rigorously tested and approved to burn wood in smoke controlled zones. Defra approved stoves with 5" flue outlets, like this one, can also be installed with a 5" liner. The Defra approval has been achieved by factory fitting a mechanical stop to prevent secondary air closure beyond the 31mm open position.
Stove Construction
The Panoramic with Canopy is a "hybrid" stove and its body is constructed from quality Q235B carbon steel that has been chosen for its plasticity, toughness and weldability. The door is made from very thick mineral cast iron that helps retain the heat and slowly release it into the room. Having a cast iron door also enables us to add features like the shallow curves on the top and bottom. The internal lining is vermiculite. The stove weighs over 90kg

Low Emissions

ClearSkies Rating 4
The clearSkies 4 mark tells you that your stove is kinder to the environment. It is an independently assessed endorsement that your stove exceeds all of the latest UK regulations. You've probably heard of the government's EcoDesign directive that ensures all stoves manufactured from 2022 onwards comply with strict environmental measures.
Laboratory Tested
Any stove that has a clearSkies accreditation has been demonstrated to meet scrupulous safety standards for carbon monoxide (CO) and nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions as well as environmental pollution rules that limit the emission of particulate matter (PM) and organic gaseous compounds (OGC). And that's just the lowest of the clearSkies ratings!
Exceeds All Standards
All stoves with the clearSkies 4 rating, such as the Panoramic Slimline, are approved by Defra, the goverment's Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs. Furthermore, they have been tested under laboratory conditions to be even more environmentally friendly than EcoDesign stoves, emitting 15% lower CO, PM, OGC and NOx. So you can feel confident that your new stove has been designed and built for a sustainable, greener future.
The Panoramic Range
Panoramic stoves are Ecodesign ready and come in a range of styles and sizes, so there’s a design to fit every home.
Slimline
The original Panoramic is a large wood-only stove that has been made with a smaller internal shell to maintain a 5kw output. This means you can fill a larger fireplace and still have a spectacular view of the fire, but don’t have to worry about installing an air vent (some exceptions apply).
Traditional
The Panoramic Traditional features the same iconic glass front, but the door has been reimagined in a classical style with square details, sitting flatter against the stove than the original and designed to feel at home in a rustic fireplace.
Cast Base
If you have a larger fireplace and are looking for something that will fill it out nicely, the Panoramic with Cast Base or the Panoramic Traditional with Cast Base adds extra height and width and will fit in modern and traditional fireplaces.
Log Store
The Panoramic stove can also be purchased with a fitted log store to really make it a centrepiece. The sturdy log store adds 283mm of height to the stove, and provides a great place to keep plenty of logs warm, dry, and ready to light.
Twin Door
If you are looking for a stove that will really make a statement, the Twin Door Panoramic or the Twin Door Panoramic with Stand are the perfect option. Both make for a stunning centrepiece in a traditional fireplace or freestanding.
Multi-fuel
If you would like to burn smokeless coal as well as wood, we stock a multi-fuel Panoramic and a multi-fuel Panoramic Traditional.
